GCreation Rebel (IDW Prowl)

Post by Miss Trebuchette » Fri Feb 16, 2018 1:48 pm

So I got this boy last night and can I just OOOF!
For such a gorgeous figure, that transformation is for masochists (this is from a woman who used to routinely transform her MP-5 Megatron without a single break).

Does anyone have any tips? I think I get the legs now (but what a nightmare of a learning curve they are). The front end and the shoulder position with the arms tabbing into the windshield....eeeeeeeh...not so much...

But once in vehicle mode does this guy ROLL at a PHD level. So good...
It's me (Jenevieve)! Queer trans*lady who's been into robots since she was a little girl watching Prime die the first time in a movie theater. I'm JenApparently on Twitter and Whisky26 on TFW.

Life-long trebuchet enthusiast.

I've transformed him once and even then it was just sitting at 92%. I wasn't up for getting the legs at *just* the right angle to sit up against the front half of the car.

I wish the shoulder pads had better defined positions for both modes. There's so much freedom of movement that getting them spot on for alt-mode is a bother.

At least he looks so amazing to more than make up for the transformation.

Yes! Exactly this! I feel like this is almost the "rough draft" of this figure's engineering. After a few production samples were made, rather that tweaking the designs/tolerances, they just said, "Meh. Good enough!"

This is the toy that convinced me once and for all I am more into intuitive and fun transformations over beautiful but complicated third party stuff. He’s a gorgeous figure, I just don’t find him fun really.
