'Proper' kaiju-wise, I've not seen much. Only the original Godzilla, and then the Broderick/Cranston ones. We bought Shin today, funnily enough, and should be watching it tomorrow after Black Panther!
Let me know if you like Shin, I'll set you up with some recommendations!
Shin was excellent! Hilarious levels of admin-porn and somehow managed to be genuinely funny at points, alongside the carnage.

What else would you recommend?
Agree with GMK.

Tonally similar to what you've seen so far: Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964), Godzilla (1984), Godzilla 2000, Godzilla X Mechagodzilla and sequel Tokyo SOS. Oh and Pacific Rim if you somehow haven't seen that.

Branching out: King Kong vs. Godzilla (wrestling-themed satire), Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) (goofy spy thriller), Monster Zero (alien invasion + Godzilla)

I love the designs in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Tokyo SOS, but personally feel they aren’t worth as immediate an investment. Excellent taste and recommendations Angy!

Since I didn’t answer it earlier, my kaiju of choice would be Gigan, terrifying cyborg space chicken and master of blades.

Damn I picked the wrong time to get burned out on Kamen Rider and Tokusatsu in general. I wasn't that impressed with Build's first few episodes but after seeing some of the rider designs, particularly Kamen Rider Rogue, I'm kicking myself for skipping it. I'll catch up at a later date but damn.
