If anyone votes for American spray cheese, that's a permaban.

...Just kidding! But I voted red, because it's a special kind of awesome.

Wensleydale with cranberries. All the goodness of cheese with a little something extra.

Whoa whoa whoa, let's slow down folks. Cheese is all relative.

Pizza? Mozzarella
Salad? Feta
Sandwich? Double Gloucester
Cracker? Port Salut.

Can't just go about saying there is one master-cheese.

Out of the choices given, cheddar wins easily, I'll even put it on pizza. Mmm.

I also have a strong appreciation for stuff like colby and pepper jack, gouda, mozzarella, parmesan... I like cheese, people.

My knowledge of Wensleydale is nonexistent but I figure that if Wallace and Grommit like it so badly, I might too. Someday!

Me: The nice thing about this new TF Forum is it'll give me the chance to get away from the cheese I work with all night, every night five days a week. Because if there's one thing that will never come up on a Transformers forum, it's cheese.

*Sees thread*

Me: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Cheddar of course. It's big and square and stacks easily and sells well enough you can get away with not rotating it. It's a cheese aisle workers dream)

Fun fact I learned from Radio 4:

Cheddar is so popular and so prevalent as it was the choice of cheese to ration during WW2. The main reason it was cheddar? It could be easily cut in ever smaller portions with minimal loss of material as would occur in more crumbly cheeses thereby ensuring it could be stretched as much as possible.

Another fascinating cheese fact:

Mild cheddar was pushed by marketing companies as you would need to use more to achieve a desired flavour and therefore use more up. One of the selling points was to say that 'housewives prefer mild cheddar' which of course, back in the day was a sure way to sell food product. Actually, *fixes glasses* leading cookery people prefered mature cheddar as you only had to use a little at a time.

Whoops the thread was already resolved. Spoonatron is right. There's no need for me to say anything.

...buuuuut I'll throw a few shoutouts to goat cheese, gorgonzola, camembert, pepperjack, and I recently had a nice double gloucester with chives and a white stilton with mango and ginger.
